Babies and very young children not yet ready to participate at Mass can spend Mass time in the nursery with our qualified adult caregivers.

LITURGY OF THE WORD DURING THE 8:30 AM AND 11:00 AM MASSES
Children in Kindergarten through second grade are invited to take part in the children’s Liturgy of the Word as a part of the 8:30 or 11:00 am Sunday morning Mass. Register your child by contacting Joyce Dailey jdailey@dioceseaj.org

At the beginning of Mass, Father calls the children to the front of the church, at which point they meet their teacher who escorts them to a classroom to discuss the Gospel on their level. The children return to church during the Offertory.

This introductory year of Religious Education allows our students to learn more about Jesus’ love for them. We meet between the Sunday morning Masses.

This is the first year of a two-year process to receive the sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist. They learn about the love Jesus has for them, prayer, and the importance of community.

Our second graders spend the year preparing to receive the sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist. Activities are centered around preparing to receive Jesus in the Eucharist.

Weekly activities include praise & worship, weekly large group lessons, small group time, fellowship and fun.

Large group activities and lessons begin the class time each week followed by small group discussion.

We want your teen to know that faith can be an active part of their daily lives, not just on Sunday. That Jesus is their friend and the Holy Spirit does guide them in all that they do…if they allow Him to! This faith journey includes the path to Confirmation.
